Christmas with Agnes and her boys

We enjoyed duck for Christmas dinner, cooked by Pope over a three-stone fire.

A good visit with my good friends, Bishop and Margaret

I always enjoy spending time with my friends, Bishop and Margaret! Now that they live in Eldoret, I have to make more of an effort to see them... but it's always worth the effort. We've known each other for so many years. In fact, I lived with their family for a year and a half.

Not only have I watched their children grow up and mature, I've likewise been privileged to watch grandchildren come into the family. It was especially nice to see almost all of them, as they began to gather to celebrate Christmas together.

It was also nice to attend a service at their new church and to meet some of their members.

I always thank God for bringing Bishop and Margaret into my life. They have taught me so much about Kenya and I continue to learn from them regarding ministry and sacrificially laying down ones life for the Lord. I will never cease to be amazed at their undying spirit and positive outlook on life... in spite of many ups and downs. Surely, they are a great example to me!

A plea from three elders of an unreached people group in Papua New Guinea

Three elders from the jungles of Bisorioland in Papua New Guinea - Maile, Namoleya, and Suduwama - share how the Gospel came to them in 1978.

They also send a powerful challenge to the American church.

Believe me, it's worth seven minutes of your time!
