Karo and her children, Jim and Joy, travelled with me to visit her parents. This was Jim's first time to see their new well. He enjoyed drawing water from it!

I took Jim and Lucia into Siaya town one day for some errands. Lucia is a neighbor boy who recently started living with Karo's parents. His family is very poor and really struggles to survive. Our outing was his first time to ride in a vehicle! His eyes were as big as saucers! This meal was Lucia's first time to have "chips", sausage, and a soda, as well as to use a straw!
